Our private beach excursion today, spring water that come from who knows where, our lunch, "Crabby" that Ngoc caught and now has in a bottle in our room, and a great view of the mangroves.
ok so i couldn't resist googling "porn marina" and here is what i found. an excerpt from a cambodian travel book -
"koh kong island - it's best to set out early in the morning as the sea, often smooth as glass at 7am, tends to get choppy in the afternoon. Make sure your vessel has life jackets on board - and don't count on being able to summon rescuers with your cell phone... bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of bottled water (for some unknown reason, one local brand is called Porn Marina."
my point here boys is do your research and keep it safe!!
I'm sure Crabby is thrilled about that.

What boat trip advisory would not insist life preservers were important! We knew it was bad news, but moved forward blindly as usual.
ReplyDeleteThough your info needs an update because our guides used their cell phones many times through the day :)
